On the 14th of October 2023, Africa Healing Foundation hosted the second edition of #BeThatMen Breakfast and networking event at the International School of Coaching and Mentorship, Karigamombe building, Harare, Zimbabwe. The event was attended by Africa Healing Foundation volunteers and people from universities across Zimbabwe.
The event symbolises significant interventions being taken by our organization to promote mental wellness within men in Zimbabwe and to challenge the stigma around sentiments that men should “men up”. The event was filled with focus group discussions around challenges that men are facing with regard to their mental health, its effects, what can be done and goal setting.
